I swam in the ocean the other week. It was 40 degrees outside, and in the oven that was Bronte I walked down down the hill to the beach.
Walk barefoot down to the water, dipping feet in chilly water not yet heated. Finding the flags and jumping in for a cooling dip in the waves.
Waves of manageable size thankfully. But stressing in waves is still not my favourite way to swim. So I walked my green bag over to the rock pool. And I floated in the water with the seniors and the kids.
It was pretty cold in the water.
I saw the cutest little girl joing her dad on his surfboard. They start early.
