story thinking

Playing around with my longer writing project at the moment. Trying to find a story that works, but they all feel cliché and boring.

Tossing up between a sexy romance, a not literary but not completely genre novel, and a poetic style novella. Quite possible that I won't be able to sustain the poetic language for a full-length novel. It might be a bit painful reading that for 300 pages.

But I can't seem to get the story right. I think, decide, think and decide that the first thing I thought was shit. I think, decide, think and decide that the second thing I thought was shit.
